I have just hit 10,000 words out of an estimated 70,000 - 85,000.
This will be a long haul, but maybe I'll be nearly there by Christmas.

So here's the thing: like a lot of young authors I have simply lost motivation to continue writing 'Land of Time'. Instead, I will put this project on hold and begin writing a new piece of work. Rather than aim for a target of a rather daunting 120,000 words, I will probably just push for 20,000 and write a long short story, (anyone know whether there's a name for that?).
As to what I will do with it, I might post character concept art and sections of it on here, but I'm unsure to whether to post the full piece on here since I believe myself to have acquired literary skills sufficient to be publishable. I'll perhaps post a prologue and if any interest is expressed then I'll likely post on here, however if, as is the case with most literary work on here, it is ignored, then I'll probably try to have it published and then post the whole thing in one go when it inevitably fails.
